Message	gasket material can be had for cheap through any autoparts store. Oriellys sells multiple gasket materials in a single packet for like $8.00. yea, it wont last 45 years, but its cheap. make a bunch in one session if it's an issue. then disassmble, remove, reinstall and write it up as a DIY victory.
